The Artist
A life painted for peace
Born in Barh, Bihar in 1963, Sanjeev Sinha graduated from the College of Arts & Crafts Patna and rose with the young Bihari art generation of the 80s. He exhibited from Kolkata to Amsterdam, conceived the international project Buddha Enlightened, Art & World Peace in Bodh Gaya, and in 1991 became the first artist of his generation to win the National Academy Award.
