"Buoyant Iconic Depth" is curated by Els Reijnders (Director of Foundation for Indian Artists) and Dianne Hagen (Visual Artist from the Netherlands). The exhibition is sponsored by Takshila, The Raza Foundation, and Mediverse Hospital, each contributing to the celebration of Indian art and culture.


Highlights of Buoyant Iconic Depth

First-Time Display of Paintings (2013–2020)

This exhibition offers the first public viewing of many of Sinha’s paintings created between 2013 and 2020, showcasing the emotional and contemplative depth he brought to his work. Each painting, vivid and layered, presents viewers with a journey into themes of beauty, spirituality, and peace, inviting them to ponder the underlying messages within his art.


Sculptures from International Exhibitions

Also featured are select sculptures that previously garnered international acclaim in Amsterdam. Displayed alongside his paintings, these sculptures exemplify Sinha's unique interplay between form and theme, creating a visual dialogue that reflects both cultural richness and a deeply personal artistic vision.

Born in 1963 in Barh, Bihar, Sanjeev Sinha rose as a leading figure in Indian contemporary art. From his academic beginnings at the College of Arts & Crafts in Patna to becoming a globally celebrated artist, Sinha's work represents the intersection of Hindu and Buddhist mythologies with modern societal themes.

Sinha’s art is known for its symbolism, evoking societal introspection and personal peace.
